Work Dress for Nellie - Addy's?

I was just wondering how appropriate Addy's work dress would be for Nellie? Would the style be at all right?

Also, what type of shoes would she have worn with a work dress?

I think I remember some members getting Addy's work dress for Nellie. I'd love to see some pictures. It looks like it will be fine. I especially like how Addy's dress comes with clothespins - perfect for Nellie!

Nellie would have worn black stockings (you can order them through replacement parts, just ask for Samantha's meet stockings. Or you can buy Sam's shoes and socks set). She also would have worn black leather lace-up boots, just like the ones that come in Kirsten's shoes and socks set.

Work clothes fashion would have changed very little between addy's time and nellie's and yes there are a few other members on this board who wanted to do the same thing (whether they did or not I couldn't tell you)

But yes you would put her in work boots or she could go barefooted... it all depends on how raggedy you want nellie =D

You know now that I am thinking about it, wasn't poor orphan Nellie's gray work dress/apron fairly similar in the movie?

I've also really wanted a work dress for Nellie. I wish they had a couple of her things from her orphan life. I guess I'll have to make them myself.
